Performance Factors
Understand what affects your VPN speed:
Protocol Choice
WGuard is fastest, followed by Reality, VLESS, then Cisco. High impact on speed.
Server Distance
Closer servers mean lower latency. Critical for gaming and video calls.

5GHz WiFi and wired connections are faster than 2.4GHz or mobile data.
Server Load

Quick Optimization Steps
Switch to WGuard
Go to Settings > Protocol > WGuard. This is the fastest protocol available.
Connect to Nearest Server
Use sorting by distance or congestion to find the optimal server.
Clear App Cache
Settings > Apps > OrbVPN > Clear Cache. Removes old data that may slow performance.
Close Background Apps
Other apps using bandwidth affect VPN speed. Close unnecessary applications.
