Common Login Issues

Start by checking these frequent causes of authentication problems:

Account Error Codes

AUTH_001: Invalid Credentials

Email or password is incorrect. Double-check both or reset your password.

AUTH_002: Account Locked

Too many failed attempts. Wait 15 minutes or contact support.

AUTH_003: Subscription Expired

Your plan has ended. Renew your subscription to continue.

AUTH_004: Device Limit

Maximum devices reached. Log out from another device first.


Password Recovery

If you can't remember your password, follow these steps:

Tap 'Forgot Password'

On the login screen, tap the forgot password link to start recovery.

Enter Your Email

Type the email address associated with your OrbVPN account.

Check Your Inbox

Look for the reset email. Check spam/junk folders if not in inbox.

Enter Reset Code

Type the 4-digit verification code from the email.

Create New Password

Set a strong new password and confirm it. Then log in with your new credentials.

Code Expiration

Password reset codes expire after 10 minutes. Request a new code if yours has expired.


Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If you have 2FA enabled, follow this process:

First, enter your email and password as normal.

Get 2FA Code

Check your authenticator app or SMS for the verification code.

Enter Code

Type the 6-digit code within the time limit (usually 30 seconds).

Lost 2FA Access?

If you can't access your 2FA codes, contact support with your account details and proof of ownership for manual recovery.


Device Management

Your subscription plan determines how many devices can be logged in simultaneously:

1 device at a time

Premium Plan

5 devices at a time

Family Plan

25 devices at a time

Go to Settings > Devices to see and remove logged-in devices. This frees up slots for new devices.
