Sign-Up Screen​

This screen is used to create a new account with your Orb ID by providing your email and password.

Components of the Sign-Up Screen​

Fields:

  • Email: Enter your email address. This will be your Orb ID.
  • Password: Enter your desired password.
  • Repeat Password: Enter the same password again to confirm.

Options:

  • Terms and conditions: Check this box to accept the terms and conditions. Click on the terms and conditions link to read them.

Button:

  • Sign up: Click this button to create your account.

Third-Party Registration:

  • Google: Click the Google icon to sign up with your Google account.
  • Facebook: Click the Facebook icon to sign up with your Facebook account.
  • Apple: Click the Apple icon to sign up with your Apple ID.
  • Microsoft: Click the Microsoft icon to sign up with your Microsoft account.

Existing Account:

  • Log in: Click this link if you already have an account to go back to the login screen.

How to Use the Sign-Up Screen​

  1. Enter your Email:

    • Type your email address into the Email field. Ensure it's correct as this will be used for communication and login.

  2. Set your Password:

    • Enter your chosen password in the Password field.
    • Repeat the same password in the Repeat Password field to confirm.

  3. Accept Terms and Conditions:

    • Read and accept the terms and conditions by checking the I accept terms and conditions box.

  4. Sign Up:

    • Click the Sign up button to create your account.

  5. Using Third-Party Registration:

    • Click the icon of the third-party service you want to use.
    • Follow the instructions to sign up with your chosen service.

  6. Already Have an Account:

    • If you already have an account, click the Log in link to return to the login screen.

Email Verification Screen​

This screen is used to verify your email address by entering a code sent to your email.

Components of the Email Verification Screen​

Message:

  • Please check your email: Indicates that a verification code has been sent to your email address.

Email:

  • Email address: Shows the email address where the verification code has been sent.

Code Entry:

  • Code boxes: Enter the 4-digit verification code sent to your email. Each box corresponds to one digit of the code.

Error Message:

  • Incorrect code: If the entered code is incorrect, an error message will appear in red.

Buttons:

  • Verify: Click this button to verify the entered code.
  • Resend Code: If you did not receive the code, click this link to resend it. It shows the time remaining before you can request a new code.
  • Change Email: Click this link if you need to send the verification code to a different email address.

Back Button:

  • Back: Click the back arrow to return to the previous screen.

How to Use the Email Verification Screen​

  1. Check your Email:

    • Open the email account associated with the address displayed on the screen.
    • Find the email containing the verification code.

  2. Enter the Verification Code:

    • Enter the 4-digit code you received into the code entry boxes on the screen.
    • Click Verify to submit the code.

  3. Incorrect Code:

    • If you see the error message "You have entered an incorrect code," check the code and try again.

  4. Resend Code:

    • If you didn't receive the code, wait until the countdown timer allows you to resend it.
    • Click Resend Code to receive a new verification code.

  5. Change Email:

    • If you need to use a different email address, click Change Email to update your email and receive a new code.

Troubleshooting​

  • Invalid Email or Password: Ensure that you are entering a valid email address and matching passwords. If the email or password is invalid, you'll see an error message.
  • Password Reset Problems: Ensure that your new password meets all requirements and is entered correctly in both fields.
  • Terms and Conditions: You must accept the terms and conditions to sign up.
  • Third-Party Issues: Make sure your third-party credentials are correct and that you follow all instructions.
  • Email Issues: Make sure you entered the correct email address.
  • Code Not Received: Check your spam or junk folder, and ensure that the email address you provided is correct.
