2011: Standing with Freedom Fighters

2011 was a year that reminded us why we built OrbVPN. The Arab Spring swept across the Middle East and North Africa, and secure communication became more critical than ever. My father's years of work as a political analyst helped us understand the gravity of these events and the vital importance of secure communication channels.

Supporting Freedom of Speech​

During the uprisings, we saw unprecedented demand from journalists, activists, and citizens in affected regions. Our invitation-based system proved invaluable – trusted networks of users helped get access to those who needed it most while maintaining security.
