Port forwarding itself doesn't compromise your VPN privacy—your real IP remains hidden. However, you're exposing a service to the internet, so ensure that service is secure. Use strong passwords and keep software updated.
Which servers support port forwarding?+
Port forwarding is available on all our Premium and Ultimate servers in 50+ countries. Some locations have restrictions due to local regulations.
Can I get a static port?+
Premium and Ultimate plans include static port assignments that don't change between sessions. Basic plans receive random ports that may change.
Does port forwarding work with all protocols?+
Port forwarding is supported on WireGuard and OpenVPN protocols. VLESS Reality doesn't support port forwarding due to its proxy-based architecture.
